Do you know what Character Day is? Character Day was created by a woman named Tiffany Shlain. She also is a co-founder of the non profit Let it Ripple and the International Academy of Digital Arts and Science. She launched a global premier on a short film called The Science of Character. It’s about social and neuroscience behind character development and this is what character day is about.

Character day is an opportunity for people to screen films on the topic of science that relates to character development. People who participate in this event use materials and resources for discussion online about their own character, or who they are. They also discuss on who they like to be or how to strengthen their character based on research. In 2017, there were over 133,000-character day events in 152 countries.

On September 8, 2015, Character Day became an annual event, this year it was held on September 26, 2018. Every year different countries all over the world screen films, and invite schools and organization to discuss in conversation with other people online.

Character Day is a wonderful day for people to express their personality and to learn about other people’s personalities. This day allows everyone to learn and discuss about who they are as a person and who they want to be.
